- Pedagogical shifts in our knowledge of identities in mass communication and popular culture.

Master's research:

- The representation and visual analysis of bodies and sexuality in new media and its de-stabilization of and resistance to power
- Gender construction of cyborgs in visual medium of science fiction films and online communication
